Towards making this happen, Purple has developed tools to create the Behavioural / Leadership Competency Framework. The tools provide in-depth understanding of the Company’s Business Strategy and as to how this Business Strategy is focusing on achievement of the vision of the Company. The tools also seek insight from all stakeholders including the environment.
Further, Purple has the expertise to design, develop, run and conduct periodic reviews of the Development Centre. The Development Centre provides the competency profile for an employee on a 5 point scale.
Further, for all unique positions in the Company, Purple facilitates creation of templates to indicate the ideal mix of Behavioural / Leadership Competencies required for a position. This is done through a unique methodology developed by Purple, involving the Position holder, Immediate Superior, Internal Customer, Internal Supplier and key Subordinates. The template so created facilitates identification of gaps. Purple supports the design and roll out of development initiatives to overcome these development areas.
Last but not of least importance is that the template and actual scores become part of the methodology for computation of the Human Capital Index.
Ultimately it is thus possible to compute the ROI on development expenditure.
